Yes, on many vehicles
Push-to-start cars use a smart key that the vehicle senses in the cabin, and a properly equipped mobile locksmith can program these fobs for a wide range of makes and models. We supply the correct fob for your vehicle, pair it to the car, and make sure it starts and locks as it should.
Adding a spare smart key while you still have a working one is usually the simplest version of this work. We come to your location, program on site, and you avoid a tow to the dealer.
Lost fobs and all-keys-lost
If your push-to-start fob is lost but you have another working one, replacing it is generally straightforward. Losing every smart key is a bigger job, because the car has to be convinced to trust a brand-new fob with none present, which can take more steps and sometimes bench-level work.
On most vehicles this is still something we handle, but certain newer or luxury push-to-start systems are dealer-level for all-keys-lost by design. We tell you honestly which category your vehicle is in before we start.
Getting it done right
Call us with your year, make, and model, and let us know whether you still have a working fob. That lets us bring the correct smart key and equipment so the visit goes smoothly the first time.
We quote up front and program at your location. If your car turns out to be one of the rare dealer-only all-keys-lost cases, we say so plainly rather than starting a job we cannot finish.
